Guinevere is the youngest of two children and currently views herself to be an orphan. Her older brother moved out to British Columbia from Toronto to go to school, and that's where Guin has ended up as well. But things haven't been so grand for her lately. Her mother died of cancer shortly before her high school graduation, and a little while later her boyfriend was killed in a drunk driving accident. He had been on his way to surprise her with a gift to celebrate them both getting into Martin University but he never made it to her front door. Since their father abandoned them when she was seven her mother's brother is the only family as she has left, and he has taken it upon himself to keep a close eye on the two kids until they are ready to head out into the world on their own. Guin is doing a lot worse than her brother though, losing interest in the things that she loves and really not knowing where to turn. She could use some guiding hands to pick her back up again and help her feel like her old self.

For the time being this is going to be an extremely small and exclusive category. Guin has been struggling quite a bit with the loss of her boyfriend and her mother in such a short span of time, and that has resulted in the putting up of a lot of walls for her. She is afraid of being left behind and being hurt like that again. It's going to take a little time for someone to start busting down those walls, but she could really use someone who is stubborn enough to keep on trying until they start making progress with her.

ENEMIES[break]
I don't know that there are too many people who would fit into this category yet either, but I'm more than happy to see some female rivals and such. Perhaps there is someone in her program who hates her for things, or a girl who has an eye on her potential love interest and wants to fight her over that. She definitely isn't Delta Pi material so there is always that! I'm game to discuss things.

Again, this is going to be a tough one. Tony was the only boy that she had ever loved, and Guin lost him to a drunk driver. Her heart is still mangled over the accident and other than her brother she has pretty well closed herself off to feeling things for people. Obviously I'd like her not to stay this way. There is a request for a love interest for her, someone to shake her world a little and really get her heart pounding again. Otherwise I'm game for some crushes and maybe even someone to toy with her heart without the intention of being serious.

The only child of a political couple from California, Anya was never encouraged to do anything but follow her father's campaign trail. But when she developed a love for books and ancient history, it caused a bit of a riff in the family dynamic. Her father was publicly supporting the arts and the preservation of historical monuments. In private, he hated the idea that his only child was going to "waste her time on that kind of nonsense." It took a little time to convince them that she was going to Brighton, but eventually she won out, if only because her father couldn't take the risk of having her speak out against him. Now she's been and gone most of the way through school. But that doesn't mean she will get away from all of the drama scott free!

Anya's not the kind of person to make judgments right off the bat...unless you've already made yourself out to be a jerk. For the most part though, she's very approachable. She loves to read, and is willing to help tutor someone if she can, or recommend a book to read. This category will likely fill up fairly quickly!
