Night at the Movies[open]

It was Saturday afternoon and Adam had to work in the evening, he was looking to unwind before a stressful night at work. It’s not that Adam didn’t like his job, he loved managing the theatre, Adam seemed to be in a bit of a slump these days, and he couldn’t seem to figure out why. As he rolled out of bed, he made his way to the bathroom and began splashing cold water on his face to wake up. After showering, brushing his teeth, and grooming so he looked professional, Adam made his way to the kitchen.

As he opened the fridge door, he heard a knock on the front door of his apartment. Adam hadn’t checked his phone all morning but he figured it was one of his friends looking for some weed. Walking to the front door he peered through the eye hole and saw his friend on the outside. Opening the door, “Buddy! What are you doing here?” Adam slapped his bud’s hand before bringing him in for a hug. It was more of a rhetorical question, because he knew why his friend stopped by.

Once his friend left, Adam spent the rest of his time playing Overwatch. Soon it was close to time for Adam to leave in order to get the theatre ready for open. He turned off his TV, and x-box one and headed back into his bedroom. Pulling his black shirt out of the closet, he began getting dressed, tonight he decided to pair it with a bold blue tie for contrast. After putting on a pair of black slacks, Adam began looking himself over in the mirror, he decided he was pleased with his appearance, he grabbed his keys off the table and headed out of his apartment.

Arriving at the theatre Adam began unarming the building and unlocking the doors for fellow employees. As time continued on, Adam made sure all of the theatres were clean, and ready. He ensured the bathrooms were cleaned and stocked up, and making sure there was fresh popcorn popping was a priority. Once Adam was satisfied with how the theatre was, he looked at the clock and noticed it was time to open the box office doors. Walking over to the front entrance, Adam pulled out his set of keys and began unlocking the front entrance. “Welcome!” Adam said with a smile as he opened up the doors.
