It was a rainy Saturday morning and Charlie had just finished her morning run. Charlie ran the forest trails by the edge of the school every day. This was a habit she did regardless of rain, shine, or snow. She had an appearance to keep up and it was extremely important to Charlie that she uphold this appearance. She returned back to the Delta Pi house dripping with a mix of sweat and rain. Her hair was a mess and her breathing was still a heavy as she walked through the front door of the house. She enjoyed her run but she was glad to be home.
Walking up the stairs she headed toward her bedroom to have a shower and begin getting ready for the day. Charlie wasn’t sure what she was going to do today, she hadn’t heard of any wild plans so far. She considered just having a study day but she knew she wanted to get out of the house. As much as she loved being the leader of Delta Pi, she didn’t always love spending all her time in the house. Hoping in the shower, Charlie turned the water to warm before hopping inside.
After she was dried off Charlie began to get dressed. She knew she wanted to look pretty today but she was thinking of wearing something that was a little more casual. She decided to go with a pair of ripped jeans with a baggy white t-shirt, with an unbuttoned plaid shirt with a black sweater over top. After checking herself out in the mirror and being happy with her appearance, she began packing up some of her school books before heading down the stairs to her car.
Pulling up to Starbucks, Charlie began looking for a spot closest to the door, she didn’t want to get more wet than she had to. Finding a spot in the second row of the parking lot she parked her car before getting out and running inside. She covered her head with her purse to give her extra protection from the rain. Once inside she put her purse back down by her side and headed up to the counter. “A midnight mint mocha frappuccino, please.” Charlie waited for her drink before she heading to find a seat in the coffee shop. Finding an open booth near the window, she began to sit down and pulled out her psychology textbook.
